CHINA, QING dynasty (1644-1911) 5th rank civil officer's coat in black silk, sleeves, torso and back embroidered in gold thread with birds in clouds and flowery garlands, sleeve ends in blue silk. Late Qing dynasty (1644-1911). Bears a "Galerie du Monde, HONG KONG" label on the reverse. Dimensions (flat) : 90 x 139 cm Preserved in a Plexiglas box with fasteners for wall display.
