With ten years of experience, the firm organizes several auctions each year in collaboration with the Drouot auction house, where Maître Gillieron has been officiating for four years. These "Live" auctions, broadcast on the internet, are accessible worldwide to bidders, who are alerted to the presentation of lots of interest to them thanks to keyword indexing. Maître Gillieron organizes general, specialized, and collection auctions.

It is also possible to conduct "on-site" sales at your home as part of the disposal of an entire collection or a major house content. Thanks to the Drouot.com tool, the international reach will be the same as in a traditional auction room.

Bulky lots can be sold on a "description-only" basis. These goods are knocked down live from the auction room (at the firm or at Drouot), but remain at your home pending collection by the successful bidders.

The different steps to offer an item at public auction:

  • Schedule a complimentary and confidential appraisal appointment during which an estimated price range, sale conditions, and an upcoming auction date will be communicated to you;
  • Sign a consignment agreement in which the auction house commits to representing your interests;
  • The item is stored free of charge, cataloged, photographed, and then presented during a public exhibition at the firm, at Drouot, or at your home;
  • The lot is presented at auction. If it finds a buyer, payment will be made within two months following the auction session, upon receipt of full payment from the buyer. If it does not find a buyer, it will be presented a second time at auction or returned to you at no charge.
