NOTICE
Jean-Pierre Vitrac is a French designer born in Bergerac. He is known for his creations such as the "Paravent" and "Fleur" luminaires, published by the French company Verre Lumière (1968-1980s). He also collaborated with other brands, notably the French publisher Manade, which played a part in the history of office design from 1972 onwards. In 1993, Jean-Pierre Vitrac was awarded the Grand Prix de la Création Industrielle. In 2001, the designer founded the product design company Design Pool.
A copy of this lamp is in the permanent collection of the Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum, New York, and the Carnegie Museum of Art, Pittsburgh.
