NOTICE
Agnès Paul-Depasse is a contemporary craftswoman and designer based in Switzerland, specializing in straw marquetry, a traditional skill involving the assembly of fine straw elements to create highly refined decorative motifs. She chose early on to devote herself to this technique, which is not widely practised, and has become
recognized as one of the few contemporary craftsmen to master this delicate, meticulous craft. Agnès Paul-Dupasse stands out for her ability to apply this marquetry not only to decorative or utilitarian pieces, but also to exceptional creations such as watch dials. Her work is part of a contemporary reinterpretation of the decorative arts, notably through collaborations with luxury houses, in particular Hermès, for whom she has created watch dials in straw marquetry (Arceau Marqueterie de Paille).
